After payment can I immediately transfer the domain to my registrar or provider?

Usually it is possible to transfer a domain only 60 days after the assignment. As we are domain brokers, we buy and sell domain names for others as well as domains from recent back orders. For that reason the domains we sell change registrar (from that of our customers to ours) shortly before our sale, just to allow us to check them and sell them during the 5-day offer period. According to ICANN rules each domain can be transferred and thereby change registrar (a registrar is the company that takes your registration request and reserves your domain for you at the main registry) only once every 60 days. In the most likely case that your domain has recently been transferred to us for the sale, we have to wait 60 days from the previous transfer before initiating the new transfer to you. Since the whole process generally takes place within the five days of the public sale, the 60-day transfer restriction period will start the day of the domain assignment. Therefore 60 days must pass before transferring the domain to another registrar or provider. However, you can immediately use the domain by redirecting it to your current website or repointing it, changing the name server, directly to your server. As another option you can PUSH the the domain on an account that you can create on the current registrar and have immediate access to the domain name.

Will there any other additional charges?

No additional charges besides the price you have offered for the domain. For payments via Paypal or by credit card there is a fee of 5%. The purchasing price of the domain is one-off and non-recursive. The only recurring cost is $16 per year for the annual renewal of the domain , BUT ONLY IF you renew the domain with us. If you decide to transfer the domain to another registrar you will have to pay the domain renewal cost to the new registrar, as a rule for all domains. Our price also includes the renewal of the domain for one year, which will be in effect also if you transfer the domain to another registrar.

But I already own a similar domain, why do I need another one?

The answer is pretty simple, you will get more exposure for your business. If you have multiple domains, this multiplies the chance of having a surfer click on the link to your website.

How do I transfer my domain name to a new registrar?

You may initiate the transfer process by contacting the registrar to which you wish to transfer the domain name and give them the Auth-Info, which you receive from us 60 days after the domain assignment and logically after paying the relevant invoice. The transfer must be initiated within seven (7) days following receipt of the AUTH-CODE, otherwise the auth-code might EXPIRE and you would have to ask for a new one. The deadline can vary depending on the registrar. Please take into account that the minimum time for a domain name transfer is 5 business days. When transferring the domain, the new registrar will require you to pay for the renewal of a new annual period, which will be added to the one in progress. All time remaining on your domain will be transferred - you will not lose it.
